Martina Llanas Rodriguez, 89, of Buda, TX, died of cancer related illness on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in Austin, TX.
Martina is survived by her husband Teodoro Rodriguez Sr and her children, Teodoro Jr, Dominga (Herrera), Frances (Eureste), Theresa (Estrada), SanJuana (Ojeda), Jose Angel, Patricia, Pabla, Chavelo, MaryAnn, Jerry, Nobert, and her 28 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Martina was born on June 18, 1926, in Niederwald, Texas, to parents Biviano and Pabla Llanas. She married Teodoro Rodriguez in October 1946 and the couple had 12 children together. She was a great wife and loving mother. Her family will always remember her as a selfless, nurturing and hospitable person whose front door was always open.
A rosary service was held on September 4, 2015 at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle,TX. Funeral services were held on September 5, 2015 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, followed by a burial at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, TX.
