Three juveniles and one adult have been detained and arrested in connection to the Buda homicide on Jan. 21.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest on Jan. 28. The homicide occurred in the 6900 block of Sunfield Parkway in Buda.
The juvenile suspects were all detained and processed into the Hays County Juvenile Detention Center. The adult arrested is identified as Jason Oliver Martinez (DOB 10/07/2003). Martinez and the three juveniles, all from Austin, have been charged with Capital Murder in the shooting death of Giancarlo Arman Perez of Buda. As of press time, Martinez was still in custody. No bond has been set.
These detentions and arrest were the result of witness interviews in Hays County as well as in Austin.
