The Hays County Crisis Negotiation and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams Sunday responded to a call regarding a suicidal subject in Kyle.
According to a Hays County press release, authorities arrested one man, Robert Hansen, 39, who will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault/family violence.
The Hays County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at the 100 block of Park Place in Kyle at approxiately 4:00 p.m. for a suicidal subject. Both the Crisis Negotiation and SWAT teams responded to the call.
Investigation into the incident revealed Hansen had been involved in criminal activity prior to the 911 call.
Hansen was arrested and taken into custody after distraction devices were used. It is unknown what distraction devices were utilized.
