For the fifth year in a row, the Blair House Inn in Wimberley has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of excellence.
This means the inn was ranked highly by guests. Blair House Inn is owned by Chris and Lois Mahoney.

Wimberley is certainly Bootiful! Fifty artistic boots are all around the town and the Wimberley Valley. This project has attracted a lot of interest from locals and visitors alike.
The Bootiful project artists utilized metal, glass and mosaic features as well as traditional paint mediums. One of the boots, by native Texas artist Denice Calley, is on display at the Blair House Inn.

Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) has announced that Jim Boyle will return to serve again as the interim CEO. He will take over the responsibilities on July 6 and will remain in that position until a permanent replacement is found.
He previously served as interim CEO in 2010. He takes over for Sam Huenergardt who announced earlier this month that he was transferring to Parker Adventist Hospital.
CTMC is a 178-bed facility located in San Marcos.

Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) recently hired Ingmar Sterzing as vice president of power supply and energy services. He took over that position June 1.
Sterzing will be responsible for planning, directing and executing power supply and energy management strategies for PEC. He came to PEC from LS Power, a U.S. power and transmission development and private equity firm with more than $29 billion in projects.
He has also held positions at Westinghouse Electric Company, General Electric and the Lower Colorado River Authority, where he managed fuel and power operations. Sterzing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from North Carolina State University.
