Concert in the Park
There will be a free Concert in the Park across from Tom Green Elementary School in Buda on Saturday, July 19 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Two bands (A Fountain of Life Band and Stones of Fire) will perform. Free hot dogs, hamburgers and snow cones. For more information, call or text 512-393-4460.
Kyle, Buda and San Marcos Farmer’s Markets
Kyle’s farmers market will be held this Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sustainacycle (409 W. Center St.) in Kyle. Come meet local growers and artisans. Find unique plants and art for your home and garden. Learn the “secrets” of the trade of growing your own organic food in Kyle. Meet your neighbors and make new friends.
Buda’s farmers market is held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon on Main Street in Buda. A new weekly market will also be held every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Willie’s Joint, 824 Main St.
San Marcos’ farmers market is held every Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. at 312 E. Hopkins St. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on San Antonio St. between LBJ and Guadalupe streets.
Stepping Out in Buda: Off the Grid
On Thursday, July 24 Off the Grid will be playing at 292 West Bartlett Drive in Buda for the Buda Chamber of Commerce’s Stepping out in Buda series. Doors open at 7 and music starts at 8. There is a $15 entrance fee (cash only). For questions visit www.steppingoutinbuda.com.
Country and Western Dance
Get your dancing shoes on and join Onion Creek Senior Citizens for a Country & Western Dance from 6 - 9 p.m. on July 17 with music by “Off the Grid.” The kitchen will be open from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Cover charge is $5 per person.
