On Jan. 19, Jacque and Kristopher Foster of Kyle Texas won first place medals on Sunday at the Mid America Speed Skating League meet in Arlington, Texas. Inline speed skaters arrived from several states to compete in the various divisions. Both Jacque and Kristopher skate for The Texas Speed Club which is ranked second in the nation. Kristopher Foster, an 8 year old third grader at Fuentes Elementary School, placed 1st in the boys’ Novice B division, and Jacque Foster, a 16 year old Junior at Lehman High School, placed 1st in the ladies’ Novice B division.
