Camp ‘n’ Catch a Movie: Frozen
Come out to Lake Kyle this Saturday, July 12 to watch “Frozen.” Pitch a tent and camp out by Lake Kyle or watch a movie under the stars. Movies begin 30 minutes after sunset and are shown at the ampitheater in Lake Kyle. Movies are free and open to the public. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and snacks
Country & Western Dance
Get your dancing shoes on and join Onion Creek Senior Citizens for a Country & Western Dance from 6 - 9 p.m. on July 17 with music by “Off the Grid.” The kitchen will be open from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Cover charge is $5 per person. Texas Wild Rice Anthologies Unbound
From 5 - 7 p.m. on July 18 at the Walker’s Gallery in San Marcos, enjoy a free showcase of local poets, artists, photographers and musicians who contributed to the Texas Wild Rice Festival book.
Art Squared Art Market
From 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on July 12, local artists will have a market on the Hays County Historic Courthouse lawn. Spend some time with live music and local wares. The event occurs the second Saturday of the month.
