Our beloved David Rodriguez, age 64, of Kyle, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
Mr. Rodriguez served proudly in the USMC from 1969-1971, where he received a purple heart for his services in the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Anastasia Rodriguez, mother, Tomasa Godoy, and nephew, Thomas Villarreal.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Rodriguez of 25 years; children Monica Rodriguez, David Rodriguez Jr., Christopher Trevino, and Valerie Trevino (Joe); 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister Lupe Villarreal.
Mass of Christian burial was held on April 9 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment followed at Assumption Cemetery in Austin.
