Sammy G. Ferdinandtsen, 78, of Buda, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 29, 2014. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Sammy was born on June 9, 1935 in Austin, Texas. He was self-employed for 35 years and was the Pastor of Faith Chapel in Estes Park, Colorado. Sammy was a longtime member of Faith Assembly of God in Buda, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin H. Keller and Alice Jeanette Cain Keller.
Sammy will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Darlene Ferdinandtsen; daughters, GayLynn Loupe and husband, Chris and Kathy Walsh and husband, Dan; son, Sammy Fransen and wife, Jana; brothers, Richard Ferdinandtsen and wife, Joy and Kenneth Keller and wife, Paula; sister, Margaret Ferdinandtsen Peterson and husband, Buddy; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Faith Assembly of God Church in Buda with Rev. Henry McCullough and Rev. Gary Carlson officiating. Interment followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.
