CROP Hunger Walk for Hays County Food Bank
Join the HCFB Food Rescue Rangers team, or start one of your own, for the CROP Hunger Walk. Every dollar raised for the CROP Hunger Walk will be increased this year thanks to the “Feinstein Challenge.” The Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger-fighting agencies that raise funds during March and April. So the more funds raised through April 30, the more money the Hays County Food Bank receives. Only contributions specifically designated for the Feinstein Challenge qualify.
Individuals and organizations can also make donations to help the food bank rise to this challenge. Food donations are accepted between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Financial contributions may be made online, by mail, or in person. The physical and mailing address is 220 Herndon Street in San Marcos, Texas 78666.
The CROP Hunger Walk takes place at 2 p.m. April 27 at the Dunbar Recreation Center in San Marcos. To register or sponsor a team or walker, visit www.cwsglobal.org. Then click on CROP Hunger Walk, choose Texas and select Hays County CROP Hunger Walk.
