Enjoy this family-friendly event in downtown San Marcos featuring live music and a good old-fashioned pie eating contest. Book signing
Acclaimed Native American author and filmmaker Sherman Alexie will read from his books at the Wittliff Collections at 2 p.m. April 4 at the Alkek Library at Texas State Friday, and the Katherine Anne Porter House in Kyle also on April 4 at 7:30 p.m. There will be books available for purchase at the evening reading, as well as refreshments at both events. The events are free and open to the public.
