Brent Thurman Memorial Rodeo
The 16th annual Brent Thurman Memorial Rodeo will take place June 27-28 in Dripping Springs. Doors for the Cowboy Reunion, auction and dance open at 4 p.m. Friday at Mercer Street Dance Hall and will have a $10 cover. On Saturday the Exceptional Rodeo (6 p.m.) and PBR Bullriding (7:30 p.m.) will take place at Dripping Springs Ranch Park and have a $20 entry fee for adults, $10 for children ages 5-12.
Casino Night
The Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center invites you to a Casino Night for poker, blackjack and more on Saturday, June 28. Check in is at 6:30 and play is from 7-10 p.m. There is a $25 registration fee. The center is located at 420 Barton’s Crossing in Buda.
Fourth of July Patio Party
Join the Kyle library for a Fourth of July Patio Party for face painting, shape balloons, crafts, and snow cones. The event will be held July 1 at 10:30 a.m. People of all ages are welcome to attend.
Buda Movie in the Park: Brave
On Friday, June 27 bring the family, lawn chairs, blanket, picnic basket, and dog for a night under the stars and enjoy a family friendly movie. Paid concessions will be available. Movies start at 9 p.m. at Buda City Park.
Kyle Garden Festival
The Kyle, TX Garden Festival is all about plants and what you can do with them. You can grow flowers, trees, vegetables, fruits, for landscaping, farming, create organic produce, sell at farmers markets or maybe just to collect seeds. This festival will be about self sustainable living and what you can do with your own 2 hands. There will be free prizes to be won and family friendly fun with food, drinks, games and more. Garden Festival and Flea Market events are both on July 5 and 6 at the Kyle, Texas Flea Market.
