Hays CISD Board of Trustees upcoming meeting schedule:
The Hays CISD Board of Trustees meets twice monthly for regular meetings. The first is an agenda workshop where agenda items are discussed; the second is the business meeting. Voting on items takes place at the business meeting. Below is the schedule for upcoming March meetings:
Agenda Workshop, March 24 at Lehman High School
Business Meeting, March 31 at Lehman High School
Both meetings begin at 5:30 p.m.
Annual district art show
The District Art Show takes place from 2-7:30 p.m. March 19, with a reception at 5:30 p.m., at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center.
STAAR testing
STAAR testing runs April 2-4 at all campuses where the test is given.
HCISD Bad weather make-up days announced
The Hays CISD bad weather make up days for this school year are Thurs. June 5 and Fri., June 6 as scheduled on the published school calendar. The district must use both days this year because of closures on Jan. 24 and Feb. 7 for inclement weather.
Graduations will remain as scheduled. Hays and Lehman High School graduations are June 4 at the Strahan Coliseum on the Texas State University Campus. Live Oak Academy graduation is June 5 at the Performing Arts Center.
Senior final exams will take place as scheduled to allow them to graduate as planned.
