City-wide Spring Clean-Up at Buda City Park
Buda residents may bring all unwanted items (branches, leaves, furniture, etc.) to the Buda City Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. You must show a valid driver’s license with a Buda address or a driver’s license with a copy of your utility bill showing a Buda address. Tires will not be accepted this year.
Dia de los Niños
The Buda Public Library will host an afternoon of music, crafts, stories and refreshments on Saturday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. At 3 p.m. Mae Stoll and her drummers will present a drumming concert featuring African rhythms and snacks proved by Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant of Buda.
Benefit concert at Milt’s BBQ in Kyle
This Saturday is the first of four “Concerts for a Cause” at Milt’s Pit BBQ in Kyle from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Keith Kelso is scheduled to play to raise money for awareness of the ECI Homespun in Hays County. Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) is a statewide program for families with children, birth to three, with disabilities and developmental delays. The show is free, but donations are appreciated.
