Police Motorcycle Chute-out
Head to Cabela’s in Buda on May 30 and 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to watch the Kyle and Buda motorcycle cops compete in a set of skill challenges. This is a family friendly event, admission is free and spectators are welcome. Enjoy a vendor show, food vendors, a skydive demonstration, a raffle and door prizes. On Sunday, stunt rider Ryan “OG” Smith will join us following the competition events (estimated to start between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.) to perform a series of stunts.
Homeschooling ABCs
Learn how to get started in homeschooling and find a community of supportive and encouraging families at this event, featuring a discussion panel of homeschooling moms taking questions from the audience. Several Hays County homeschooling families will have their curriculum displayed and will be available to answer questions. The event will be at First Baptist Church, 400 W. Center St. in Kyle, on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6-8:30 p.m.
