Staff Report.
A series of school lockdown drills will take place at nine Hays CISD campuses this spring. The drills are a joint effort of Hays CISD, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, local law enforcement agencies and the Hays County Emergency Management Office to implement the newly adopted Standard Response Protocol (SRP) based on the “I Love U Guys” Foundation.
This unified response was adopted by every school district and every first responder agency within Hays County in an effort to promote situational awareness and minimize loss of life in the event of an “Active
