YAKONA: A film through the eyes of the San Marcos River

YAKONA will have its world premiere screening at 9:30 p.m on Saturday, March 8 at the Marchesa Theater in Austin, and will show again on Tuesday, March 11,  at 11 a.m. at the Paramount Theater. Both showings will be followed by a Q&A with directors Paul Collins and Anlo Sepulveda.

YAKONA is an impressionistic journey down the San Marcos River. The film travels from source to sea, through the changing seasons, interpreting the river’s time and memory, and documenting the relationship between ourselves and the natural world.
