This year’s Hays County Youth Livestock Show kicked off Saturday with the annual horse show held for the first time at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center. Saturday’s events also included the crowning of the Livestock Show Queen. The rest of the stock show will take place Thursday, Jan. 23 through Saturday, Jan. 25 in the same location. Brittany Crenek was crowned Queen and Rachel McDaniel was crowned Princess. The rest of the court included Duchesses Emily Hermes, Peyton Bonner, Savannah Lawrence, Michaela Lehman, Alyssa Updegrove, Kylie Achilles and Kirby Bohls.
