Reunited and it feels so good

Submitted report.

Charlotte and Rob Edwards went to grade school together in Oregon. They crushed on each other from second grade through middle school. But when they got to high school, Charlotte said things didn’t go so well.

“We HATED each other in high school,” she wrote in an email. “We went to a small enough high school (750 students) that everyone could just feel it in the air if a big fight was going on between us.”

Time moved on and each went their separate ways, heading to different colleges.

Above,Rob and Charlotte were childhood sweethearts and high school rivals. They went their seperate ways, but found themselves together again nine years later.

“We would hang out with each other and friends when we were home on breaks,” Charlotte wrote.

Then Charlotte headed south to pursue a graduate degree. Nine years later, she went back to Oregon for a visit. She met up with Rob.

“We re-connected, decided it was for real this time, and a done deal,” she said.

After a long-distance romance for a year, the pair decided it was time to be in the same state. Rob moved to Texas.

They’ve lived in Buda for three years and now have a two-year old son named Rowan.

Charlotte shared the photos seen on this page with All Around Hays, saying, “The pictures that we have of each other together from when we are younger are our favorites.”
