Warren Evan Cox was born on Sept. 21, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana and passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014, in Kyle with his wife, Linda Weaks, by his side.
He worked for Austin Energy for 18 years and enjoyed doing yard work. He will be missed by many friends. Even though he was a quiet man, he was very loving and his wife and son came first in his life after God.
Warren is survived by his wife, Linda Weaks; son, Travis who loved and cared for his father; brother, Jerry Cox and wife, Anita of Liberty, MS.; sister, Brenda Hartlerroad of Oklahoma City, OK.; sister, Nancy Pongratz and husband, Mike of San Marcos; and honorary daughter, Mary Saucedo.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at La Roca Fellowship in Kyle with Pastor Luciano Castillo officiating. Burial followed at Kyle Cemetery.
Linda would like family and friends to know how much she will miss her card partner, her best friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to assist with final expenses.
