For the second consecutive year, the Hays High School Marine Corps JROTC qualified a four-cadet team to the USMC Service Air Rifle Championships in Anniston, Alabama. This year’s team of four shooters includes two of last year’s national competitors, Cadet 1st Lieutenant Sarah Thompson, a junior, and Cadet 1st Sergeant Ryan Hall, also a junior. Thompson and Hall were joined this year by Cadet Corporal Andrew Small, a sophomore, and Cadet 1st Lieutenant Maritza Palacios.
