Health’s Angels, a project of St. David’s Foundation Community Fund, is pleased to announce the planting and celebration of the first senior garden in Hays County at Onion Creek Senior Citizens Center. Join the celebration at 420 Barton’s Crossing on Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. for music, food and drinks as the seniors plant the new garden.
If you were watching the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic Champions Golf Tournament at Fallen Oak in Saucier, MS on Sunday, you might have noticed a familiar face. The caddie for the tournament winner, Jeff Maggert, was none other than Rusty Uresti.
Almost time for the gathering of the annual Buda High Forever Reunion. The reunion will be held Saturday, April 12, at the Onion Creek Senior Center. The doors will open at 9 a.m. for the visiting to begin. If you have memorabilia that you would like to display, please bring it along. There will also be a silent auction so again please contribute to it. As always, there will be a drawing for a handmade quilt. Lunch will be served at 12 noon. All money made from the events will be given to the reunion fund.
On Friday evening, April 11, the class of 1964 will celebrate their 50 year reunion at the senior center. The classes of 1963 and 1965 are also invited. For information, please contact Sharon at [email protected] if you would like to attend.
Congratulations go out to Horace and Faye Fletcher as they celebrate their diamond anniversary. The couple was married 60 years ago on March 27, 1954.

There will be a public input meeting on Thursday, March 27 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Kunkel Room at Buda Elementary School concerning city facilities, including the Buda Public Library, and also the Downtown Master Plan.
