A very excited Dahlstrom Middle School Mustang Symphonic Band, directed by Sharran Lusby, took home a UIL Sweepstakes Award from competition for the fourth consecutive year. The 2014 UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest was held at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in a three-day event for middle school band students from across Central Texas.
