Camp Ben McCulloch Reunion


The 118th Camp Ben McCulloch Reunion will be held June 20-27 at Camp Ben McCulloch in Driftwood.  Everyone is welcome to come and join in on family fun and entertainment.  Throughout the eight-day reunion, visitors can enjoy music, dancing, camping, swimming, food, a carnival, bingo, games, washer pitching, and plenty of time to catch up with friends and family. The reunion is held on the banks of the beautiful Onion Creek.


 


Midsummer Celebration


Come celebrate summer on the longest day of the year with a fun day at the San Marcos Nature Center. The Nature Center will be open late with an art market, children’s activities, a magical costume contest, and nature center creatures to amaze and delight on this magical night. Winner of the costume contest will get a free 2-hour birthday party at the SMNC. Call the Center at 512-393-8447 for more information.


 


Tomato Round-up


Enter your tomatoes and enjoy a day of festivities at Founders Memorial Park in Dripping Springs on Saturday, June 21 from 10-2. All ages welcome. Check in and entry of tomatoes will begin at 9 a.m. and close at 10 a.m. All are welcome to come enjoy tomato tasting,  live music, educational info from the Hays County Master Gardeners, and food and drink from local vendors.


 


Buda Movies in the Park


Bring the family, lawn chairs, blanket, picnic basket, and dog for a night under the stars and enjoy the classic movie “Mary Poppins.” Paid concessions will be available. Movies start at 9 p.m. at Buda City Park on Saturday.


 


Kyle Movies in the Park


Due to last week’s rain, the showing of “Despicable Me 2” has been postponed to this Saturday, June 21. Paid concessions will be available. Movies start half an hour after sunset at Lake Kyle.
