Constance Marie Cascio Aston, 88 and a 58-year resident of Nacogdoches, was called away to her Lord on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 27, 1925 in Shreveport, LA. Connie loved her family above everything else in this world.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, James “Jim” Aston, Sr.; her parents, Rosario and Concetta Marzullo Cascio of Shreveport, La., and formerly of Cefalu, Sicily; and her brothers, Albert, Sammy and Peter of Shreveport.
