San Marcos CISD’s Mendez Elementary students were treated to a live demonstration of a cow being milked during a visit by the Mobile Dairy Classroom. Sponsored by the Southwest Dairy Museum, Inc., the 32-foot outdoor classroom features a fully operational milking parlor and live cow.
During the 45-minute presentation, instructor Clyde Holekamp described the milking process as he performed each step on a two-year old cow.
