Two SMHS vocalists make all state choir, one as first chair

 This weekend, senior Konnor Callendar (Alto 1) made 1^st Chair in the 2014 All State Mixed Choir, and made school history as the first female student to achieve 1^st Chair at the All State level. Soprano Isabel White, also a senior, made 4^th Chair Soprano 2. Both students will perform with the Texas All State Mixed Choir in San Antonio on Feb. 15 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center as part of the 2014 Texas Music Educators Association Convention and Clinic.
