Jerome worked at Texas State University for 24 years. He was the Laboratory Supervisor from 1990 to 2014.
Jerome loved rock and roll, animals and his job. He loved what he did. He was the only one at work by 5:30 a.m. And let’s just say that if you didn’t mention St. Louis Rams, the Lakers and the Longhorns in a sentence with his name, then you didn’t even know him. He loved loved, loved football!
If you had to put one word with Jerome, it would be laughter. His laugh was contagious and put a smile on anybody’s face. Even when he was sick, he would crack jokes and laughing.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Harrell Funeral Home at 4435 Frontier Trail in Austin. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship Church to the youth mission trip. He always would help others and he knew that the youth were going on a mission trip to South Carolina.
