In a Texas-style twist, the victim of a home burglary on Oct. 4 was arrested after brandishing a firearm during a confrontation with suspects in a public parking lot.
Shaune Christopher Maycock, 37, of Kyle was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, a Class A misdemeanor. Maycock was booked into the Hays County Jail on Oct. 4. He was released on Oct. 5 on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
