Jeep Meet
Whether you’re a Jeep owner, or enthusiast, Central Texas Speedway is hosting its first-ever Jeep meet from noon-7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the racetrack. There will be go-karting and live music by Keith Kelso.
Hill Country State Championship BBQ Cook-off
Cabela’s will be hosting its 10th anniversary BBQ cook-off this weekend, Sept. 19 and 20. There will be $10,000 worth of prizes including $1,000 first place prizes for brisket, ribs and chicken. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides and a jump castle for the kids as well as two days full of live music.
