William Ray (Bill) Lee, 62, of Buda, TX, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2014, while in his home. He was born May 2, 1952, in Wylie, TX to the late Ruby Baker.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, watching football and spending time with his family. He served as a deacon at Manchaca Baptist Church for nine years.
Bill is survived by his wife Mary Lee of Buda; his son Barry Lee (Carrie) of Buda; his daughter Kristin Gaither (Steven) of Orange Grove, TX; his dad Jim Baker of Briggs, TX; his sister Teresa Cook (Mack) of Briggs, TX; his brother Wayne Baker (Amy) of Cedar Park, TX; his brother Jerry Baker (LeeAnn) of Spicewood, TX; five grandchildren Grace, Joshua and Emma Gaither of Orange Grove, TX and Ava and Grayson Lee of Kyle, TX; as well as nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Manchaca Baptist Church Family, Buda Police Department, Buda Fire and EMS, Hays County Sheriff’s Office and Harrell Funeral Homes.
Funeral services were held at Manchaca Baptist Church on Thursday, September 11, 2014, with burial following at Live Oak Cemetery.
