August will mark the ninE year anniversary for Pediatric Junction to provide professional, loving care to the young children in our area.
Anniversary wishes go out Tim and Margaret Goebler on Thursday, July 31 as they celebrate their 44th wedding date. Mayor Todd Ruge and wife Elizabeth celebrate their eighth anniversary on the first day of August.
Birthday wishes also go out to Margaret Goebler on Aug. 2, as well as Jeff Barton and Butch Grizzle on the same day. More birthday wishes to Andrea Bishop, Alice Chisholm and Marguerite Gillis on Aug. 3; Elmo Battles and Adele Neel on Aug. 6.
Farmers Market will be set up Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until noon on Main Street across from Garcia’s. Stop by for good buys.
Another “first Thursday” rolls around on Aug. 7 in downtown Buda. This time gives the public the chance to stroll Main Street in the late afternoon and night to visit the unique shops while enjoying food at the restaurants. Many of the shops will offer specials along with refreshments. Art Around Town will also “Celebrate our Earth” at the Buda Library from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
