Mary "Myrtle" Johnson, 94, of Buda, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 25, 2014.
She was born January 17, 1920 to Clinton and Lucinda Deison.
Myrtle married her childhood sweetheart, Randolph Johnson, and they spent 60 wonderful years together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Murray, Raymond, Douglas and Johnny and sister, Janie Allen.
She is survived by sons, Robert (Dianne), Rodger (Leona), Henry (Loretta) and daughter, LaDon Mihleder, and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Friday, August 29, 2014 at Harrell Funeral Home Chapel in Austin followed by burial at Live Oak Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Alan Sonstein and the nurses and staff of New Century Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.
In this world of takers and givers, she was the ultimate giver. She would sacrifice to give to everyone else. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Johns Presbyterian Church or New Century Hospice.
