Update, 11:30 p.m.:
Buda voters retuned both council incumbents to office, and approved all five bond propositions aimed addressing city infrastructure, roads, drainage and parks Tuesday, according to the unofficial election returns.
Incumbent Linda Rodriguez fell to Republican challenger David Glicker by more than 2,300 votes in the Hays County Court at Law, Place 2 race.
Hays County Judge Bert Cobb easily won reelection to a second a term after beating Democratic challenger, Abel Velasquez, by almost 6,000 votes.
Hays County Emergency Services District No. 5 voters declined a Sales and Use Tax request seeking a one-percent increase to sales taxes collected in unincorporated areas inside the district's boundaries.

Earlier, 7:00 p.m.:
Buda Council Incumbents Eileen Altmiller and Bobby Lane, who were challenged by political newcomers, both have a lead in the early vote.
Altmiller, who was seeking a second term to her Place 5 seat, garnered 55.93 percent (580 ballots) of the absentee and early vote, according to unofficial election returns.
Altmiller’s opponent, Evan Ture, received 44.07 percent (457 ballots) of the vote.
Lane, who was served since 2000 and is seeking reelection to his Place 6 seat, took in 52.61 percent (524 ballots) of the absentee and early vote, election returns show.
Lane’s challenger, Greg Henry, received 47.39 percent (472 ballots) of the vote.
All five Buda bond propositions, which are aimed at addressing infrastructure, roads, parks and drainage in the city, have been voted up in the early vote, some with sizeable leads.
Absentee and early vote numbers show voters in Hays County’s Emergency Services District No. 5 are not supporting the district’s request (56 to 44 percent) for an increase in sales tax.
ESD5 is asking voters to approve an increase of one cent to sales taxes collected in unincorporated areas within their boundaries.
Hays County races:
Incumbent Bert Cobb is leading challenger Abel Velasquez (58 to 42 percent) in the race for Hays County Judge.
Challenger David Glicker has an early vote edge (53 to 47 percent) over incumbent Linda Rodriguez for the County Court at Law, Place 2 seat.
The absentee and early vote has all three ACC bond propositions failing for now.
