At the district meet hosted by Canyon High School in New Braunfels, the boys team finished in 2nd place with 146 team points and the girls finished in 2nd place with 133 team points advancing both teams to the area track meet on April 14th in Georgetown.
Sophomore Gunnar Betts finished 2nd in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 11.31 and qualified for the upcoming area track meet.
Lilee McGinnis passing the baton to Taylor Anderson in the Varsity 4x100 Meter Relay. The other team members of this relay consisted of Chloe Fredenburg and Kaleigh Powell. They finished 3rd in the 4x100 Meter Relay finals with a time of 50.36 and qualified for the upcoming area track meet.
Laney Kalsu finished in 4th place in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:00 and qualified for the upcoming area track meet.
Sr. Cameron O'Banan (2) finished 4th in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.75 and qualified for the upcoming area track meet.
