“It was amazing,” said Gabriel Molander (above), who scored the winning goal in a 3-2 win over Leander, advancing the Tigers to the fourth round of the UIL 5A Region IV playoffs. “I hit it over the keeper and all l thought was, wow that’s going to roll in, but as slow as it was going it was 50/50 whether it would get there or not.” The Tigers will meet Brownsville Porter in the next round. Dripping Springs’ sophomore goalkeeper, Jaxon Swanson (left) leaps up over Leander’s Paso Banda to catch the ball in front of the net for the save as Tiger teammate Parker Aldridge (8) looks on. The Tigers scored 3 goals in the second half to came back from a 2-0 deficit for the win.
