Kyle Christmas Tree Lighting
Join your neighbors at City Square Park for the official Kyle Kick off to the Holidays. Bring a camera and take photos with Santa. Enjoy holiday music from local school choirs, food, and free activities for the children. The event starts at 4:30 p.m. at City Square Park/Historic Kyle City Hall. Santa arrives at 4:30 p.m. He will help the mayor flip the tree switch at 5:45 p.m. Event concludes at 8:45 p.m.
BudaFest
Now in its 35th year, patrons can enjoy this annual holiday tradition in downtown Buda. Parade with Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving takes place Saturday morning. Then enjoy two days of browsing the vendors for the perfect gift: crafts, jewelry, specialty foods, collectibles, antiques, clothes and more. There will also be live music and entertainment both days. A handmade quilt made by members of the Onion Creek Citizens Center will be raffled off after Budafest. The event takes place Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 in downtown Buda on the green.
