I support Leticia Van de Putte for lieutenant governor because she has been an effective senator who has worked with her fellow senators from both parties for the good of the citizens of Texas. I want a lieutenant governor willing to recognize fellow senators for their knowledge when appointing chairpersons to the committees. We need a person willing to fight for equal pay for woman, women’s rights supporting planned parenthood by helping to prevent pregnancy in the first place. We need someone able and willing to look at both sides of an issue and work toward getting our school’s rating out of the dark ages at 48%. Funding our Health and Human Services and Child Protective Services workers so they can truly protect our children. She is highly respected in the Senate for organizing and working well with others. We need a lieutenant governor who is a voice for ALL Texans not just the radical right.
