The Hays County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating a possible hit-and-run that occurred Wednesday night on FM 2001 at Windy Hill Road in Buda.
According to HCSO Deputy Stephen Treager, the HCSO was dispatched at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday for a medical call regarding a male subject found on the side of the roadway
One HCSO deputy and an EMS unit from Emergency Service District (ESD) No. 8 responded. The injured person was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin; their condition is not known at this time, nor has their identity been released.
