Back to School clothing drive and shop
Need some back to school clothes? Have some clothes to donate? Drop off your gently used clothes and shoes to the Connection Church on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come “shop” for clothes for your children from 10-12 on Saturday, Aug. 16. Area Farmers Markets
The Buda Farmers Market meets on Main Street in Buda every Saturday from 9-noon and every Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. at Willie’s Joint. Free parking and restrooms available. The Kyle Farmers Market is every third Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sustainacycle’s Sustainable Living Center at 409 W Center St.
Movie at the Lake: The Lego Movie
The next Movie at the Lake is “The Lego Movie” on Friday, Aug. 15. “The Lego Movie” is the story of an ordinary Lego named Emmet (Chris Pratt) who is mistaken as being the Master Builder, the one who can save the universe. Movies begin 30 minutes after sunset and are shown at the amphitheater at Lake Kyle. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Movies in the Park are at Lake Kyle (700 Lehman Rd).
