Holly Rae DeLeon Salisbury, 31, was called by our heavens above on Sept. 24, 2014, in Lago Vista.
A memorial celebrating her life will be held at the Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX, with the visitation from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m. on Friday Oct. 3, 2014.
She was born on April 28, 1983, the youngest of three girls to James and Jerri DeLeon of Buda. Her childhood was spent in Buda going to Buda Elementary School. She graduated from Hays High School in 2001.
Throughout her childhood years she was involved in 4-H, VO-AG, raising and showing rabbits and pigs competing in numerous shows, also played fast pitch softball from t-ball to Pony League, all at Hays Youth League.
She was so special touching the lives of many with her soft personality. Holly was united with Jason Salisbury of Lago Vista on Oct. 9, 2010, with odds against her, she gave birth on April 20, 2012, to their son, Liam Rocket Salisbury.
In January of this year she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and began her battle, but all the time she managed to touch and inspire us all as she went through this by her positive attitude. She loved her family so much and will be missed by many.
She leaves behind her husband Jason and son Liam Rocket, parents Joseph James and Jerri Lamond Walker DeLeon, sisters Jeanette (Mimi) DeLeon and Jessica (Jessie) DeLeon and David, numerous nieces and nephews and many people’s lives that she has touched, we will miss you dearly sweetheart.
