Fire Fest
On Aug. 29-30, Buda will host the 56th annual Fire Fest benfitting the Buda Fire and EMS. Friday night, Willies Joint, Tavern on Main and Cleveland’s will host free live music. Saturday’s festivities, featuring the ultimate firefighter challenge, will center on the main stage in the greenbelt/gazebo area, along with live music on Main St. There will also be a washer tournament and kids zone. Events will be FREE of charge until 4 p.m. Dirty River Boys, Crooks, Tyler & the Tribe, Cody Bryan Band, Wade Bowen, William Clark Green and more will perform. Gunner Thames Rodeo
Head to the Wimberley VFW rodeo grounds on Aug. 30-31 for the third annual Gunner Thames memorial rodeo and dance.
