Concerts for a Cause: Rockaroni and Cheese
On Aug. 2 Milt’s BBQ will be hosting August’s Concert for a Cause benefitting the Central Texas Breastfeeding Coalition. Father and (9-year-old) son duo Rockaroni and Cheese will be playing. Concerts for a Cause is a monthly concert series that raises money and awareness for different charities that do good work in the Kyle area. Concerts are free but donations are encouraged.
Wimberley Market Days
Head out to Wimberley on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the oldest outdoor market in the Texas Hill Country and the second largest in the state. Enjoy over 475 booths of evetrything you can’t live without, tree-shaded paths, live music and shopping to your heart’s content. Wimberley Market Days is located at 601 FM 2325 in Wimberley. No pets please.
Kyle Invaders “Wheel Round-Up”
Come out and join the Kyle Invaders Youth Football and Cheer for the first ever “Wheel Round-Up” on Aug. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. at 1700 Lehman Road. Bring your rides, low-riders, hot rods, motorcycles, muscle cars, sports cars, 4x4, street cars, street trucks, bicycles, and classics to show them off and compete to see who’s got the baddest, toughest, meanest ride around! Autoimmune Support Group
If you are living with an autoimmune disorder like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis or fibromyalgia, to name just a few, please come to the Hill Country Autoimmune Support Group for fellowship and sharing.
