Device showcase
Come see the devices being considered for Hays CISD teachers. The Digital Learning Advisory Team (DLAT) is evaluating options for the 1:1 teacher instructional tablets approved by voters in the 2014 bond. Teachers,staff, parents, students, and community members are invited to attend a technology showcase to see samples, enjoy hands-on time with the tools, and provide feedback to the DLAT. The showcase is from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Hays CISD Curriculum and Instruction Annex (next to Live Oak Academy).
Fall choir concerts
The Dahlstrom Middle School choir performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center. (Note: the performance by Wallace Middle School was cancelled.)
The Barton Middle School fall choir performance begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center.
The Hays High School fall choir concert begins at 7:30 p.m.Oct. 14 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center.
Hays CISD Board of Trustees meetings
The next two regular meetings of the Hays CISD Board of Trustees take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 (agenda workshop) and Oct. 27 (business meeting). Both meetings will be held in the Curriculum and Instruction Annex of Hays High School.
Fall Festival
Bring the family and enjoy concessions, dunking booth, trunk or treat and games at the Fall Festival. Takes place from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 24 in the teacher parking lot at Science Hall Elementary.
