Buda Trail of Lights
The city of Buda will host its annual trail of lights in Historic Stagecoach Park on Dec. 12-13 and Dec. 18-21 from 6-10 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, toasty campfire, hot beverages and concessions for purchase. Free admission but non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the Hays County Food Bank. Free parking and shuttle from Cabela’s parking lot. For more information call 512-295-7170.
Cookies and Cocoa at the Hays County courthouse
Come down to the Historic Courthouse in San Marcos for the inaugural Cookies and Cocoa event on Dec. 11. A free screening of “Elf” will begin at 6 p.m., and there will also be cookies, cocoa and popcorn. Bring a blanket or a chair and get into the holiday spirit.
