Sights & Sounds of Christmas
From Dec. 3-6 enjoy the annual Sights and Sounds of Christmas festival at Plaza Park in San Marcos.The festival features a carnival, petting zoo, living nativity, arts & crafts shopping, live music, Santa, plus thousands of lights on the banks of the San Marcos river. It’s a great family-friendly time. Free admission for children twelve and under, $5 nightly admission for adults.
Santa to arrive at Old City Hall for Kyle tree lighting
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, welcome Santa to town at City Square Park for the official Kyle kick-off to the holidays from 4:30-9 p.m. Santa will be available to take pictures (BYOcamera) and Hays CISD choirs will perform holiday songs. There will also be free activities for children and food vendors. Come out and help us ring in the holiday season.
Budafest
Head to downtown Buda Dec. 6 and 7 for the annual Budafest and parade with Santa and Mrs. Claus Saturday morning. Then enjoy two days of browsing the vendors for the perfect gift: crafts, jewelry, specialty foods, collectibles, antiques, clothes and more. There will also be live music and entertainment both days.
