Lights will be blinking come Monday morning as the new school year begins.
For those with kindergarteners, bring your kleenex. Tears will flow. For those whose children live in subdivisions close to a school but caught a bus last year, check out the Hays CISD website. Lots of routes have changed and some kids will have to walk.
For the rest of you, be aware. The first day is always a bit crazy, as bus drivers are looking for students, children are jumping around and excited about getting together with friends, and parents have mysterious grins.
