Bucket after bucket is filled with water before the event, and the line of people willing to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Tuesday morning at the Hays County Courthouse wrapped around the building. The event featured former and current elected officials, construction companies, the historical commission members, employees of the county and anyone wanting to participate. The event was spearheaded by former Hays County Commissioner Bill Burnett, whose wife died of ALS years ago. He was joined at the challenge by his children, Will and Ainsley.
