H-E-B updated its mask policy, making face coverings optional for fully vaccinated customers, vendors and partners inside the store.

The policy change is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and will take effect today, June 9.

H-E-B has been at the forefront of the virus and began making policy changes since the beginning of the pandemic; from requiring masks, to assuring Texans that there are no food and supply shortages, vaccinating residents and raising wages for essential workers.
