The “Hays Slice and Dice” Food Challenge team works on preparing their dish and their presentation during the Hays County 4-H Food Contests. Teams are provided ingredients of which they have to create a dish as well as prepare a presentation for a panel of judges. The presentation focuses on nutritional components of the dish, preparation steps, food safety and cost analysis.
